The Church of the Nativity of the Virgin Mary is located in the very center of the city. The temple was erected in 1809, rebuilt in 1867.

Around the temple there was once a whole complex of buildings - shops, a library, a Sunday school, a college, household buildings. In 1917 the church was badly damaged. In the 1990s, it was restored and restored.
